What we are looking for
The Nanomaterial-Based Biosensors team at BioMed X is developing a novel nanoelectronic sensor platform for near-patient diagnostics. We are currently looking for a highly motivated student to pursue a master’s thesis project in the field of immunosensing, enzymatic or electrolyte sensors. The main tasks of the project are to fabricate biosensors and perform detection experiments in physiological samples such as blood or serum.
Required skills:
- Strong background in biotechnology, materials science & engineering, biochemistry, nanoscience or related field
- Hands-on wet lab experience
- Experience with analytical techniques is a plus (electrochemistry, ELISA etc.)
